Spanset, the market leader in webbing based products confirms once again its innovative power with the introduction of a series of universial vertical safety lifting clamps.

The Exoset – lifting clamps are improved in many ways compared to the currently available lifting clamps. When we started the development of the Exoset lifting clamps our main tasks where; improvement of safety on the work floor and improve handling of the clamps. We have realized both tasks in the development of the Exoset clamps and this is rewarded in the award of a DNV - GL certificate. Exoset safety lifting clamps are
the only lifting clamps in the world who are certified by DNV-GL.

Improved safety

We added a maximum W.L.L. indicator, located clearly visible in the hoisting eye and the grip. This Indicator makes it easy for the user to recognize for which maximum weight the lifting clamp can be used. Additionally we improved safety by applying a special coating on the cam segment and pivot. The coating works as wear indicator. When 50% of the coating has worn off, the parts has to be replaced. Both innovations improve safety on the work floor!

Easier handling

The grip is developed to give the user a better grip on the clamp while attaching the clamp on the plate. We improved and enlarged the latch design for easier opening and closing. We constructed a very robust and light weight series of clamps. This was possible while we weld our bodies and use the highest quality Naxtra steel.

Vertical transport of plates - universal

• Suitable for lifting, turning (180°), moving and vertical transfer of sheet, plates and constructions.
• Plates can also be turned from horizontal to vertical and down to horizontal (180°) as needed.
• Fitted with a locking device for both open- and closed positions, which ensures complete safety.
• The hinged hoisting eye allows for the clamp to place and lift the load from any direction, or with a multiple leg sling without side loading the clamp.

The Exoset hoisting eye shaft has two flat sides, due to this construction the friction is better distributed and indent in the body can be avoided.
